Intergenerational Innovation Part 2: Education

On Friday November 4th, the Taskforce’s Intergenerational Subcommittee hosted a panel on the theme of “Innovations in Intergenerational Programs and Higher Ed.”

The panel was the second in a series bringing together professionals across the Commonwealth to share intergenerational approaches to tackling some of our communities’ biggest challenges.

We were pleased to welcome three panelists with three very different solutions and perspectives:

  • Dr. Gloria DiFulvio is the Undergraduate Program Director of Public Health at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

  • Cynthia Wilkerson is the Program Director for Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly (Boston).

  • Lisa Moison, EdD, is the Assistant Dean for Graduate and Continuing Education at Fitchburg State University.

We are grateful to all of our presenters for sharing their work, experiences, and best practices. Our hope is that they inspire you to consider intergenerational solutions to challenges in your own community.
